Spread of pathogens

Pathogens are spread by many ways. They get from one person to another through the air by drop infection, by touching and by bacterial transfer, through dirty food or water and by infected animals or needles.

There must be a contact between the infected and uninfected person.
Destroying pathogens
There are many ways to destroy pathogens. You can kill them by heat (about 60°C), alcohol, uv-light, antibiotics and many other ways.
Most bacteria are harmless and we need them, but some cause illnesses against the body has to defend itself.


Pathogens are living organisms (bacteria, viruses, etc.) that may cause an illness.
